Arctevio Terms of Service (2025)

Welcome to Arctevio. By using our site arctevio.com and engaging with our offerings, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These terms apply to all visitors and clients using our guided expeditions and other services.

2. Services

Arctevio provides guided Arctic expeditions and cold climate research projects. Details of each trip are outlined on our site.

3. Booking and Scheduling

All bookings require full payment at the time of reservation. Schedules may change due to weather or operational requirements.

4. Payment

Fees are in Canadian dollars. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Charges occur upon confirmation.

5. Reimbursement Policy

We detail below the terms for reimbursement and schedule adjustments based on product type.

5.1 Guided Expeditions and Research Projects

• Requests more than 30 days before departure: Full reimbursement within 14 days of approval.
• Requests 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% reimbursement within 14 days of approval.
• Requests fewer than 15 days before departure or no-show: No reimbursement.
• Schedule adjustments are permitted without extra charge if requested at least 30 days before departure and subject to availability.

5.2 Digital Products and Educational Materials

• Reimbursement requests within 7 days of purchase and prior to access: Full reimbursement.
• Requests after 7 days or once access has begun: No reimbursement.

5.3 Merchandise

• Items in original condition may be sent back within 30 days for full reimbursement (excluding shipping expenses).
• Shipping expenses for sending items back are customer responsibility.
• After 30 days: No reimbursement.

6. Cancellation by Arctevio

We may cancel a trip for safety or operational needs. Affected clients will receive full reimbursement within 14 days or the option to rebook.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arctevio is not responsible for personal injury, delays, or property damage. Clients should ensure they meet all health and equipment requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on arctevio.com and related materials are owned by Arctevio. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
